Hyderabad: Raising the issue during Zero Hour in the State Legislative Assembly BJPs Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh on Friday demanded that the State Government take some concrete steps to improve the image of Dhoolpet area. He said that sale of Gudamba (illicit liquor) was the primary source of income for several families in Dhoolpet. However, with the changing times, the young generation has migrated to other professions.
However, Dhoolpets notoriety for sale of Gudamba is affecting the lives of young people. He said educated and talented youth from the area were being denied jobs due to their residential addresses. He said Dhoolpet has been blacklisted by many firms. Information Technology Minister K Tarakarama Rao assured that the government would look into his demands.
