Philip Hughes died on Thursday

 sydney : Australian batsman Philip Hughes on Thursday died of a head injury sustained two days ago during a domestic match, leaving the cricket fraternity completely devastated over the "real-life tragedy". The 25-year-old cricketer, who was in contention for a Test recall for the coming series against India, succumbed to his injuries at the St Vincent's Hospital, where he was battling for life after being hit on the head by a bouncer from Sean Abbot.
