Strong earthquake hit Japan

Tokyo: Central Japan has shaked with heavy earthquake. As per local time at 10.08 p.m a strong earthquake has hit  parts of Nagano city and surrounding areas the hardest. Meteorological Agency of Japan says the magnitude-6.8 earthquake. But The U.S. Geological Survey says the quakes magnitude was 6.2. The earthquake epicentre is located at a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles). Japanese media reported that the Shinkansen bullet train service in the area was suspended after the earthquake.
