Taliban Commander killed in attack in Pak


Islamabad: A Taliban commander Firdous Khan who responsible for a bomb attack in 2007 that killed 139 people in a botched attempt to assassinate ex-Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was killed in an hour-long gunfight with police in the Manghopir neighbourhood of the countrys biggest city Karachi. Khan was the mastermind of the devastating bombing near Bhuttos truck at a political rally during her Pakistan homecoming parade in October 2007. Bhutto survived from that attack later was assassinated after two months in a gun and suicide bomb attack at a rally in Rawalpindi.
