US drone strike: Pak al-Qaeda chief and 5 killed

Islamabad:   in a US drone attack in Pakistans troubled North Waziristan region a top al-Qaeda leader was among five militants killed. This incident occured  in the Khar Tangi area of Datta Khel district in the region, where the Pakistani military has been battling Taliban and al-Qaeda-linked militants since June. The compound was completely destroyed in the attack under which the militants getting shelter.
