Kerala minister calls on KCR
Hyderabad : Kerala Education Minister PK Abdurub, on Friday, informed the Telangana Chief Minister K
Chandrasekhara Rao that Kerala Cabinet has approved allotment of 5 acres
of land at Sabarimala for the construction of Telangana Bhavan as
requested by latter recently. The discussion between both of them
revolved around Kerala’s tourism, prohibition of liqour in Kerala,
growing of paddy, coconut, total literacy in Kerala and introduction of
e-literacy in that state. he Kerala education minister also said that their State was full of
greenery and with sufficient rainfall.
He also said that most of the
people from Kerala migrate to other places for better living. The Chief
Minister praised Kerala panchayat system. Agriculture Minister Pocharam
Srinivas Reddy, Minister for Tribal Welfare Chandulal, Minister for
Irrigation Harish Rao, Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Parliament
Member Boora Narsaiah Goud, government Representative in Delhi
Venugopalachary, Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma and OSD to CM Priyanka
Varghese were present in the meeting.
