Brindavan type garden in Karimnagar

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today announced in State Legislative Assembly that the State Government is planning to develop a garden similar to Brindavan in Mysore near Lower Manair Dam in Karimnagar. In house a question raised by MLAs G Kamalakar and R Balakishan during Question Hour he replied that  based on the request of the State Government, the Union Ministry of Tourism have prioritised the project in 2014-15 to develop Karimnagar and surrounding places as tourism destination. He said that the Government has sent proposals to Government of India with detailed report with a total outlay of Rs 502.36 lakhs. CM said that the work would be started after the release of funds by the Central Government.
