We provide 12 % reservation for STs: CM

Hyderabad:  Minister K Chandrashekar Rao assured that the Government would soon provide up to 12 per cent reservation to Scheduled Tribes. Today during Question Hour in the State Legislative Assembly replying to a query raised by MLA Thati Venkateswarlu and Payam Venkateswarlu CM said that government had constituted the Telangana Tribes Advisory Council on August 18 and is also in the process of constitution of Telangana state Commission for Scheduled Tribes. These organizations will help to aid and advise the government in the implementation of all major schemes of the Tribal population. He also said that the proposed enhancement of reservation will be implemented at the earliest.
